The Guftgu book series looks at interrogations and practices of 10 contemporary photographers in South Asia, designed in context to each artists’ practice. For them, the personal is the political, and the photograph a way to fuse these worlds together. The works curated in these collections present inquiries on identity formation and history building through perspectives of gender, caste and inheritance among many others.
