About Reliable Copy

Reliable Copy is an independent, non-profit publishing house dedicated to the realisation and circulation of works, projects, and writing by artists. Apart from its publishing activities, Reliable Copy also undertakes long-term research projects, organises workshops, hosts events, and will soon curate exhibitions. Reliable Copy is based in Bangalore, and was founded in 2018.

About Nihaal Faizal

Nihaal Faizal is an artist whose recent works have explored the semi-fictional history of Flubber; family memories around the singer Mohammed Rafi; the international phenomenon of Taste of India restaurants; semi-obsolete technologies of copying; and drawings made by AI in science fiction films. Between 2013 – 2016, he ran G.159 – a project space based out of his student apartment in Yelahanka New Town, Bangalore. In 2018, he founded Reliable Copy – a publishing house for works, projects, and writing by artists.

About Sarasija Subramanian

Sarasija Subramanian is an artist whose practice stems from analogies derived from the organic world. Through a process of research, interaction, and documentation, she engages the cultural and political implications of these analogies, incorporating within them multiple histories and presents. She received her Master’s Degree from M.S.U. Faculty of Fine Arts, Vadodara in 2017, and since 2019 has been the editor of Reliable Copy.
