A critical thinking  PROGRAM FOR SHARED learnING
WITH ANN GRIFFIN

OPEN CALL ENDS 10TH JANUARY 2025
WORKSHOP DATES 24.01.2025 – 25.01.2025

Offset Projects presents a two-day workshop with book maker and designer Ann Griffin. Ann will share her design and production process, offering insights tailored to each participant’s ongoing work. The goal is to provide both individual and group feedback, inspiring new directions for developing projects into books. Participants should have an ongoing project to discuss and are encouraged to bring a substantial number of images (along with drawings, texts, or other materials, if available). If possible, participants should also bring a first physical dummy or a selection of printed images.

Ann Griffin (*1981, Lugano, CH) is a graphic designer specializing in editorial design. Based in Zürich, Switzerland, she collaborates with publishers, photographers, and artists on various projects. Her main focus is book design, with a particular interest in photography books. She has served as a juror, teacher, and workshop leader at numerous art schools, and she organises her own Photobook retreat in the Swiss mountains.

Ann has collaborated with publishers such as Aperture (New York), Edition Patrick Frey, Vexer Verlag, Edition Notari, and Bec en l’Air, as well as on self-published projects. Since 2017, she has been a committee member of near. (the Swiss association for contemporary photography).
